Students Receive Bioethics Masters Degrees
Congratulations
to the eleven students who received their Masters of Science in Bioethics
degrees from the Union Graduate College-Mount Sinai School of Medicine
Bioethics Program! Wonderfully varied in backgrounds—a cardiac surgeon, a
Czech research scientist, a disability rights analyst, a dentist with a law
degree , a law student, a medical student, a nurse, a philosophy student, a
social scientists, a social worker and a writer---were awarded their
degrees at the Union Graduate College commencement on 14 June. One of the
graduates, Ellena Bennett, was chosen to be student
speaker at the commencement ceremony. Ellena
has received a full fellowship to continue her studies at the doctoral program
in philosophy at University at Albany.
Other graduates are continuing their studies in law and medicine, or
pursing careers in healthcare, research, social work or writing.
