  Capstone Assessments

The Capstone is the culminating experience in The Bioethics Program. Held on-site at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine and on the Union College campus, the capstone reunites students and faculty face-to-face. At the capstone students present their projects to each other, they demonstrate their skills in research and teaching, and they are assessed for competency in clinical ethics and research ethics through various scenarios and demonstrations at various cites including Mount Sinai's Morchand Center. Each student is also given a one-on-one “future plans” session with a faculty member before participating in graduation exercises in the historic picture-perfect setting of the Union campus
